On Sabbath, June 6, the Adventurers were invested with the honors they had earned during the 2008-09 school year and recited the Pledge of the Allegiance to America’s flag and the Christian flag.  Looking sharp in their two-toned blue uniforms they followed the commands of their co-leaders, Elizabeth Wilson and Debbie Wantz, to recite the Adventurer Law and Pledge.

To show how they learned the fruits of the Holy Spirit, they each held a picture of a fruit and described one of the fruits.  As they were invested into the next class with a colorful scarf and pin, their parents stood behind them and Darcel Harris said a prayer of dedication for them and their parents as they grow in knowledge and wisdom for Jesus.

The highlight of the worship hour was when all the Adventurers enthusiastically sang special music “He’s Still Working On Me.”  Del Johnson spoke about one aspect of their law “Reverence.”
