New board members, Mike Bechler and Roberta Little wasted no time in becoming oriented to the WSDA church board on July 17, asking tough questions and becoming engaged in spirited discussions. Welcome aboard!
The agenda included discussions of Crest Lane School, Vacation Bible School, the new church bulletin look (Great Job, Debbie!), Women’s Ministries and physical plant issues. Harold Greene reported that the to-date tithe is up this year, but church combined budget lags, leaving the church expense fund in a chronic deficit position. Mortgage commitment payments have depleted the normal gym fund cushion.
