This month started off with a bang with all the fun surrounding the Fall Fest on November 1st. Cristal did a wonderful job with this event that was held in the gym. The eighth graders held a cake walk that was hosted by Cheryl Smith. With her help they raised $175 for their class trip. We want to extend a thank you to all the generous people who took the time to donate a cake for the event. The grand prize winner was Michelle Sipes who won a gorgeous carrot cake made by Sue Schubert.
We began work on our Christmas play in November so that it will be ready for you on December 13. The play this year is set in modern days. It tells the tale of a family learning the lesson about what Christmas is really about, giving, not receiving and how the Lord can use us if we are only willing. Jan Wall, our music teacher, is also preparing the students to give some really special music to go along with the play. I hope to see you all at the church on December 13. May your hearts be merry with the spirit of the season.
