On September 26th, the Chesapeake Conference Adventurer Clubs met at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum in St. Leonard, MD. The Adventurers that went from Westminster Bobcats were: Matthew and Nicolas Ullom and Cameron Wilson. At 9:30 am Mrs. Sandy Thomas, Chesapeake Conference Coordinator and Carl Rodriquez, Youth Director of Chesapeake Conference, started the opening ceremony with roll call.

Then the Adventurers said their Pledges, sang their song and had opening prayer. When all was done and everything explained, the people who were going to teach flint-knapping and spear-throwing still weren’t there.  So Mrs. Sandy divided the clubs up into three groups to play “Duck, duck, goose.”  That contest was never completed because the teachers finally arrived.

The award they started was Beads which they have to finish at their club meetings. When everyone went to all those stations they could walk around, look at an Indian Village, visit the Visitor Center or eat lunch and go home.  Everyone said a thankful prayer to God for holding back the rain.
