October 30 was a night the Adventurers couldn't wait for! It was our 2nd annual Adventurer Lock-In. Those attending were: Cameron Wilson, Matthew & Nicholas Ullom, Mackenzie Chavious, Edera & Astrid Tejel, with Ms Debbie, Mrs. Elizabeth & Mr. Scott supervising.
It began on Saturday night at 7p. All the Adventurers came to Crest Lane's Gym toting their gear. We began with Pizza for supper followed by toasted Marshmallows (no fire involved!). After everyone had their fill and things were cleaned up, we played a few games in the gym. Later we went into the “music room” to watch a couple movies: Garfield Tale of Two Kitties and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. When the movies were over it was lights out and "Good night. Let's go to bed." Everyone was ready for that, except once everyone was settled, "psspsspsspss....." could still be heard... little girls whispering under the cover of their fort (chairs and sheet). Eventually that faded. Everyone was up bright and early Sunday morning for a good breakfast. Moms and dads arrived at 9:30a to pick up their child(ren).
