Know Your Neighbor (KYN) had a rainy start, yet the small Gideon band saw the rain figuratively as the latter rain. Church, by going out to the byways and highways, we were able to with 240-plus men, women and children from all walks of life. It became clear to us that this is truly a calling from God. Howard Karst favored us with his smooth alto Sax, as he played and we listened, and the peace surrounded us, all one could do was wait on the Lord. The puppet program was truly from outer space and brought to mind the realization that we have a Savior and Master who is willing to save us, but it seems the rest of the universe know this but us. Then, Pastor Wall gave a heartfelt sermonette and 3A.M. provided the youthful sounds that made you obey Psalms 47:1 KJV and we clapped and shouted unto the Lord with the voices of triumph. It was a grand time, but something was missing, YOU.
