April 17, 2010 was the beginning of the "Feed the Sheep" program. We visited the Bishop Garth Apartments on Charles Street in Westminster. The population in this area is more than 75% poor young single women, teens and small children. We were told they would not come out, but the Lord said, "There is nothing impossible to him who believes." So we went forward in the cold. Before the tent was up, the children came out. The young folk asked questions and then they played Praised God, while their parents watched. The 3a.m. band played an original song entitled, "The Names of God," which required the audience to echo the words, and they did, from the least to the oldest, they sang. One young lady said, "I didn’t think anyone cared about us." Another, thanked us for the literature, while yet another asked for a Bible. One lady sat in her car reading the Signs of Hope for the three hours we were there, but the comment that made us know our Father was well pleased, was from this older gentleman, who said, “This is what Jesus would do.” Brothers and Sister, we are our brother’s keeper and it is up to us to Feed the Sheep, by any means possible.
