A beautiful Easter Cantata, “In The Presence of Jehovah” by Sue C. Smith and Russell Mauldin was directed by our own Janice Wall at both Reisterstown Church for the Worship Hour and Westminster at 7 PM for Vespers. Combining voices from both churches filled the sanctuary with nine varied styles of music as three characters from the Bible, with narration in between; Peter, Woman at the Well, and Joseph of Arimathea. In the background was a beautiful depiction of Jesus smiling and glowing with his disciples culminating with the song “They Could Not” when He was raised from the grave. Many of the musical numbers had familiar songs interwoven throughout like “Jesus Is Alive Medley.” Jan put in numerous hours in order to bring this beautiful musical experience to the church district and it was very much appreciated.
