The call for our church is to go into the community to let people know about Jesus' desire to have a relationship with them. This was exactly what happened during the People Get Ready concert, which was held on March 20, 2010. The Crest Lane Kids stole the hearts of the audience with their light show. When they, the children spelled out the word JOY, the crowd erupted. For such a small word, JOY was an eye opener to the happiness one can receive from being enlightened by Jesus. This also goes for the Circle of Friends singing group, who in their signature song, “Circle of Friends” expressed the essences of the program. The video by 3a.m., which can be seen on YouTube entitled, "The Boy who Cried Wolf - Freestyle" paved the way for Pastor Wall to teach the great principle of "Truth." There is so much more that happened, like the connection we made with other denominations, to the amount of donations received, to the fellowship after the program, and more, we praise God. Here is what we know for sure, it is time for People to Get ready because our Lord is coming, even at the door.
