The Receveur Family, known in their music ministry as “Azure Fields,” came to Westminster on March 6 for the Worship Hour special music and vespers at 5 PM. Alec and Suzanne, who do most of the singing, opened their vespers with “Heats Courageous.” This is especially meaningful in view of all the medical challenges Suzanne has had to face in 2009 and her determination to get back on the road and sing. Alec read Prov. 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your hearts.”
This concert was very touching as the two of them shared songs that were meaningful to them such as ”The Way to Grace,” “Don’t Doubt Him Now,” and “Over and Over” from their new CD out 2009. On some of the songs Suzanne added the mandolin or guitar, which add beautiful depth. For the offering song, daughter Amanda joined her mother singing “I Am Nothing Without You.”
The Receveurs have 15 trips between now and June! Here at Westminster we certainly wish them Godspeed and blessing from their home church and welcome them back with open arms any time!
