Grace Mathew, RN, working for Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, was selected Nurse Super Star for the month of September, 2008. She was nominated and awarded by the Nursing Department of Sinai Hospital. Her picture was hung in the lobby of the Hospital so that visitors and employees could see. The most important thing is that her selection to the Super Star title was unanimous. This was in addition to the selection as one of the five nominees for the Nurse of the year 2007. She is a skilled oncology nurse and the hospital recognizes her kind and loving approach to the patients and commitment to the profession. She thinks she has a ministry on the Oncology Floor and many patients and their relatives have written many letters of appreciation to her personally and to the hospital administration. Who knows, at this rate, she may even be selected as the nurse of the year?
