Judy, social chairperson, wants to thank each one for coming to the Fiesta Wellness Social, February 20. Considering those who were sick, those who were away, and those who had other commitments, there was a pretty decent turn out: just under 30 were present by the time it was all over. Some folks just came to the Program.

The Fiesta began with Elder Howard Bankes presenting a 20- minute message on Health, using the Bible as his reference book along with other references. Howard Karst asked God's blessings on the food, so delicious and PLENTIFUL. There were Taco Salad Bowls, Taco Shells, and Taco Chips, with everything you would want on them. Also there was a most beautiful Fresh Fruit Tray, Cherry and Blueberry Cheese Tarts, and miniature Brownies and to drink, a variety of juices and water to drink.

Dr. Greg and Dr. Rosemary Lewis had an excellent presentation along with two of their Floor Tech, who assist the clients with their exercise programs. Two massage therapists were also there; several folks received free 10-minute massages.

Many thanks to Mona and Howard for their beautiful decorations, truly Fiesta-inspired. Our guests were very impressed that it was done especially for them.

A BIG Thank-you to Debbie Wantz, David and Judy Norwood, Cristal and Jeff Tyler, and Diane Trickett for helping prepare the food. Those persons also helped to clean up plus there were others who helped to put the chairs away and clear the tables.  Pastor Wall and Jan made it back  to the church from their other commitments just in time to get some left over's to take home with them, and to also give a hand in the last few minutes to help carry folks’ items to their cars.  Many folks brought food items that could not be at the Fiesta Dinner and it was much appreciated. We have enough of some foods to help with the Haystacks dinner this coming Sabbath.

The Lewis' said they will be happy to have another presentation in a couple of months, if we have more delicious food =). We do have a way of spoiling our Guests.
