News & Announcements
03
As we are all well aware, February was a month of snow.  Many of us were kept busy shoveling the snow out of our driveways and sidewalks and assisting neighbors and friends with theirs.  After receiving two significant snowfalls within days, some of the men of our church just could not get enough of snow shoveling.  Six of us met on the morning of February 14th at 9:00 a.m. to shovel snow (which ranged from one to three feet in depth) off the church roof.  If you are trying to get a mental picture, be realistic.  It was the flat roof over the Sabbath School Classrooms, not the steep roof over the Sanctuary.  After about two and one half hours, the task was accomplished.  The roof was clear and safe from the threat of collapsing under the weight of the heavy snow.  Many thanks to Dean West, Larry Stirn, Tom McDaniel, Jeff Tyler and Cory Tyler.  We were all thankful that Larry brought his snow thrower which saved us much time and shoveling (and sore muscles).
