On the weekend of February 27 La Sonnette Handbell Ensemble from Blue Mountain Academy visited South Carroll, Westminster, and Triadelphia SDA Church. At Westminster the Church service started with Fantasy on Kingsfold by Dean Wagner for the Prelude.

We had a few of our regular church service items: Praise time, Call to Worship, Opening Song, Prayer, and Offering. For the Offertory La Sonnette played Rondo Passacaglia by Cynthia Dobrinski. After the Children’s Offering, Maddie Bornman, a  BMA student, told the Children’s Story. It was a story about her and her sister and how she thought her father would not notice a hole she made in the garage by an ATV that she wasn’t supposed to ride/operate unless there was an adult present.

Michael Durant and the group from HISspace did a skit. The players were Lessa Wong, David Wong, Rachel McNeave, Abby Smuda, Gabe Bonds, Hayden McGuire, Pastor and Mrs. Wall, with Michael Durant as the narrator.

The songs La Sonnette played for the worship were Ring Dance by Andrew Duncan, Blessed Assurance arr. by Linda McKenchnie, Bwana Asifiwe! (Praise the Lord) by Dean Wagner, Capriccio by Kevin McChesney, Farandole arr. by William Griffin, and Carillon by Dean Wagner.

In-between each song the Director, Eric Engen, introduced one of the La Sonnette players who told a story/testimony. La Sonnette players are: Bianca Barbosa, Maddie Bornman, Levi Collins, Bridget Darmody, Kristen Engen, Jacob Fowler, Courtney Harvey, Maile Hoffman, Sarah Jamieson (member of So Carroll), Kelsey Landa, Michael Marr, Andre Salva, and Cynthia Smith. After Carillon by Dean Wagner, we sang our closing song and Pastor Wall had Closing Prayer.
