News & Announcements
04

December 15 was the last meeting of 2009 for the Pathfinders and Adventurers. So, they had a party. They went through all the necessary things they had to do and then they all met at the gym.

They played some games. Mr. Tom & Mrs. Cheryl were there. Mrs. Cheryl and some moms were preparing a treat. Mr. Tom was sort of incognito. You see Frosty the Snowman was there, but funny thing was while Frosty was there, Mr. Tom was nowhere to be seen. Hmmmm?

Regardless, Frosty was somewhat of a little menace. The Pathfinders and Adventurers were playing a game together - tossing marshmallows with spoons into a bag. They formed two lines: on one side had the bags and on the other had the spoons and marshmallows and while they were tossing marshmallows trying to see who could get done first, Frosty was prancing up and down that lane messing up their rhythm.  They got him back by chasing him around the gym. Of course, he ran and hid behind Mrs. Cheryl. I wonder why??

More fun to come... The Pathfinders had selected an Adventurer name and bought them a gift. The gifts were handed out and then came the Ice Cream. Hurray!!  This was No ordinary ice cream, either. It was Frosty! Two scoops of ice cream as the body and head, Oreo cookie with Marshmallow on top as hat, M&M's as eyes, Pretzel sticks as arms, with a ribbon candy as a scarf.  It was a most memorable, Frosty evening.  Thanks to all who worked so hard to make it fun for the kids.
