Recording artist, singer, song writer, and humorist Jeff Hunt, was our special guest on November 21. Reisterstown was invited to join Westminster. Social committee chair, Judy Norwood, coordinated a spaghetti supper to open the evening, followed by the concert.
The songs on his current CD were his Southern Gospel favorites. Jeff said, "I chose the songs that move me every time I hear them and I hope they will move you, too." The concert included new songs "I'm Going to Let the Glory Roll," "Even When He's Four Days Late, He's Right on Time," and his trademark songs such as "Bethany" and "I Will Not Keep Silent." Jeff expressed the idea that the worship service should be "all about God, not about us. Instead of coming to church empty expecting to be filled, we should come full expecting to give our all to Him in worship." It is not often that Jeff has his mother Lorraine, and sister, Janice Wall on hand to sing with him.
