The young people of our church gathered together November 28 for HISspace. Worship was started with the Praise Team, 3AM, which is a group consisting of our own Martha Harris, Hakeem and Dominique Wilson. They led the kids in an active song service, which included songs like “Father Abraham,” and “We are Soldiers.” Mrs. Crystal Tyler got the energetic group into a fun Bible game where they were given clues and had to guess the Bible character. The drama team presented a skit about being responsible. It was written and directed by Mandi Wilson. Then musical group, 3AM, did a special worship song that they wrote themselves called, “What’s His Name.” We hope they come back again to share again.
In her sermon, Ms. Darcel talked about our responsibilities to care for the gifts God has given us. Adults should not stand in the way of our children’s gifts but we need to encourage and help them. Children are not too young to be responsible. God has put something special in all of us. We need to ask God to reveal our gifts to us. God has consecrated each of us to a certain work and He will reveal our gifts so we can be lights of the world.
