Editor’s Note: Since I’m still humming the tunes of Thanksgiving as I put together the events of November for this issue, I thought I’d poll some of our members for their gratefulness barometer:

+I am grateful that after I broke my foot I had a couple of wonderful doctors to set it and a wonderful surgeon to repair it. I am also grateful for ALL of my friends at church who pitched in and helped me one way or another - Sherri who let me stay at her place for a few weeks after surgery; Andee who came out on Thursdays to take me to church to copy the bulletin and anything else I needed to do;  Nancy who printed the bulletin while I couldn't walk, just to name a few. And I am thankful for everyone else and their little notes of encouragement and cheer all along the way.  Debbie Wantz

+His protection and care over me at my age.  Elsie Bowen

+All our beautiful church friends – especially for Jesus this Season!  Shirley Marsh

+His loving kindness and tender mercies to me and my family.  I was driving on Rt 140 to home and not paying attention when I was stopped by the flashing lights.  He was going to write a ticket for $160 and 2 pts and walked back to his cruiser.  In the meantime I called Cindy and she prayed. When he came back he only gave me a warning.  Pure grace!  Zeph Edwards

+Self-employment looked uncertain, but the Lord has been good (we aren’t rich!) but we have exactly what we need.  Jeff Tyler
