News & Announcements
10

Preparation has begun on our Christmas play and I invite everyone to the church on Sabbath, December 12 to see the play entitled Behind the Pageant. We have invited a guest actor to join the cast for a one time performance. The students are warming up their acting skills and of course some choice musical selections directed by Jan Wall.

Students continue to head towards the goal of collecting $500 for Maluti by Christmas break. The goal is in sight as the students held another bake sale in November and had a dress down day. As of December 1, they had gathered $409. The upper grade students are planning to cook a healthy breakfast for the lower grades next week and ask for donations to be given into the growing fund. Also the students will not be exchanging presents in the upper grades, instead donating the money they would have used into the Maluti project. I have challenged the students to donate $40 by Christmas and I will reward them with an ice cream cake for their Christmas party. We are also accepting donations of canned goods for the community services pantry, as it gets depleted at this time of the year.

I wish everyone a safe and joyous Christmas holiday. Jesus is the reason for the season, thank goodness for that!
