Greetings from the dusty trail. It would seem that the Timber Wolves are off to a strong start. Registration night brought out the masses and eight recruits were signed up for the 2008-09 season. In the wings are four sprinters, just waiting on paperwork. And making their way to the stands are three young rustlers just itching to join the team. Lord willing, this club will see 15 young, talented, eager and on-fire-for-the-Word-of-God Pathfinders.
Our first official duty as a club will be Induction Sabbath. The date for this event is September 6th during the church service. The sermon will be led by Cheryl Smith and all are
encouraged to attend and support this group. Please review our calendar or check out our bulletin board in the church hallway.
Everyone is excited to saddle up and head down that long trail that leads us to OSHKOSH 2009. Our goal over the next year is to strengthen our faith, our characters, our camping skills and our bank account. (Hey! It takes plenty of green to keep us on track.)
Our club is in need of some extra staff, not the kind ya carry but the kind that leads; a full time position to help with this crowd. And we are surely going to need some help with transportation for our trips. If you feel the Holy Spirit nudge, come talk to me… I can help.
We are encouraging the attendance of all the upcoming Amazing Facts children's seminar. Please come and attend from September 12-20, 8pm-9pm. Thanks for your valuable time and your prayers as we venture together to serve our Master. "Keep the Morning Watch"
