If you don’t do your laundry, you will not have clean clothes to wear. If you don’t take you dog out, you will probably have a mess to clean on your carpet. If you don’t study for your test, you probably will not do very well. These are the points Mrs. Smuda brought out during her story at the October HisSpace service. The theme for the month was, Consequences.
The decision the children made to attend HisSpace this day lead to the consequence of having a great time playing a Bible game lead out by Ms. Michele. The children looked up Bible texts that also talked about consequences. The drama team followed with a skit on consequences. The skit taught us that even when we make mistakes Jesus will be there to help us.
Pastor Wall brought it all together with his sermon, Truth or Consequences. The ultimate consequence of living our lives with Jesus in our hearts is spending eternity with our Heavenly Father. Now that’s a consequence we can live with!
