Once again, our experience at the Carroll County Fair was a smashing success. The Lord has blessed us tremendously. Howard Karst and Pastor Steve helped set up the health tent on Friday, July 25th. Cindy, Eliot and Zeph were joined by Roberta Little, Irma Hardy, Larry and Jennifer Stirn, and Grace Matthews. We did over 130 blood pressures and passed out many pieces of health and religious literature to patrons at the fair. We also had a drawing for two books; one for an adult and one for a child.
We also promoted Crest Lane School with pamphlets prepared by Ms. Nancy Thomas and the presence of Ms. Angela Misselhorn. We had patrons from as far away as the United Kingdom.
Tuesday, July 29th, was our most dramatic day at the fair. Cindy did the blood pressure on one patron at the fair, whose B/P and pulse rate was low. She was also a diabetic, and stated that she had not eaten all day. The emergency medical team at the fair grounds came and took her to Carroll Hospital Center.
We thank the Lord for giving us the privilege and the honor of having a part in spreading the eternal gospel of salvation.
